Looking for a job? These are Montreal’s best employers in 2025

18 March 20253 Mins Read

If you’re on the hunt for a job in Montreal that offers top-tier benefits and a workplace culture that actually values its employees, you might want to take notes.

The 2025 edition of Montreal’s Top Employers has just been announced, highlighting the best workplaces in the city across various industries, from tech and finance to fashion and aviation.

This year’s list, compiled by Mediacorp Canada Inc., reflects Montreal’s unique mix of old and new industries, where innovative startups and historic companies alike are redefining what it means to be a great employer.

Before we get into who made that cut, let’s explore what makes a workplace “top.”

According to Mediacorp, organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, local companies were judged on eight key factors, including:

  • Workplace culture and atmosphere
  • Health, financial, and family benefits
  • Vacation time and work-life balance
  • Training and career growth opportunities
  • Community involvement and social impact

Some of the standout winners this year included:

  • Aldo Group – Gives employees two paid volunteer days per year to give back to their communities
  • Bombardier – Helps employees plan ahead with retirement planning services and pension plans
  • Abbott Canada – Offers tuition subsidies up to $15,000 over five years for both job-related and non-job-related courses
  • Compulsion Games – Employees get a one-month paid sabbatical after five years, and three months off after ten years
  • CN Rail – Runs a community fund supported by employees and retirees, raising millions for charities
  • Ville de Montréal – The city is currently hiring for a variety of positions and offers competitive benefits, strong job security, and generous retirement plans.
