Testing the Lorex 2K Wi-Fi smart lightbulb camera at home
When I received the box at home, I immediately wondered where would be the best location to install the Lorex 2K Wi-Fi smart lightbulb camera. I do have a front outdoor outlet, so I was tempted to install it there, but I already have a Ring smart doorbell that takes care of surveillance. Then I immediately thought I should go and install it in the back on my property. I was wondering how I was going to do it. You’ll be surprised at the versatility of this product. I have an outdoor light circuit connected to an outdoor wall socket… Since the product works in a standard E26/E27 bulb socket, I simply removed one bulb and replaced it with the Lorex 2K Wi-Fi smart lightbulb camera, making sure I selected the best location for full surveillance of my property.
Leaving the circuit closed, I downloaded the Lorex mobile app. In a few minutes and with a few pieces of information, I had an account ready to use. Next, I switched on the circuit to light the bulb, then linked the product to the mobile app. The steps are quick and easy to follow.
