Huda Mustafa is undoubtedly the most polarizing contestant on Love Island: USA season 7, but that doesn’t mean she deserves all the internet hate she’s been receiving this season.
Because of this, Love Island: USA season 6 bombshell Daniela Ortiz-Rivera is swooping into the rescue, attempting to stop said online hate by speaking her mind in a TikTok video yesterday (June 16).
For those who have not been keeping up with Love Island: USA season 7, Huda seemingly found love at first sight on the beloved competition series, locking eyes with Jeremiah Brown the second he stepped into the villa.
While the couple has seemingly been the strongest in the villa, Huda’s possessive and controlling nature has rubbed fans of the Love Island franchise the wrong way, not only leading to a great deal of internet hate, but also leading Jeremiah to couple up with bombshell Iris Kendall (per the public vote) instead. Yikes!

With the online hate seemingly getting out of hand, Daniela — who has been an advocate for mental health and suicide awareness via social media — took to her TikTok spam account to “remind everyone” that “these are real humans, it’s reality TV, it’s supposed to be messy.”
She continued, “There’s obviously an understanding that there’s gonna be drama and messiness, and that’s kind of part of the reason people like to watch it — making jokes that are lighthearted and everything is so much fun — but people are really out here hating on this girl so f—–g bad.”
Admitting that she “felt so bad for her watching the last episode,” Daniela wanted to remind everyone that although this isn’t Huda’s finest moment, “I know more than half of y’all have crashed out over a man,” encouraging viewers to give Huda some grace as she navigates an emotional time that we have all experienced before.
“God forbid a b—h goes a little crazy over a man,” Daniela concluded with a little giggle.
Given the fact that the Florida native was an islander herself — and experienced a great deal of backlash as well — she then gave Love Island: USA fans a glimpse into what really goes down in the villa.
“They want you to go f—–g crazy in there,” she claimed, sharing that during her Love Island: USA journey, she had less than four hours of sleep a night, and production would control who she talked to each and every day as well. How wild is that?
Daniela continued, “I just want y’all to understand that the more I watch her, I feel like she’s not as mentally there, you know what I mean? She probably has been crashing out in her brain the whole time being in there.”
For her last hurrah, the 23-year-old gushed, “I want everyone to like be f—–g aware of that s–t and just give the girls some f—–g grace. Y’all jump in rooting for this girl and her downfall. It’s just like crazy. Just like love each other and give each other like kisses, you know? Lighthearted jokes and everything.”
