M Social Hotel New York Downtown has opened in the Financial District following a comprehensive transformation and rebranding. The hotel, part of the Millennium Hotels and Resorts portfolio, offers 569 rooms, including 98 suites, with views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline.
The property features a new dining venue, Beast & Butterflies, which provides a modern Spanish tapas experience. The hotel also includes 3,550 square feet of meeting and event space across six rooms, equipped with advanced conferencing tools and designed to accommodate up to 160 guests.
The hotel’s design, completed by BHDM Design, incorporates elements inspired by the Financial District’s landmarks, such as The Oculus and Charging Bull. The interiors feature warm red and gold tones, dark woods, and metallic finishes, with sustainability integrated through LED lighting and eco-conscious materials.
The lobby has been redesigned as a communal hub, hosting live music, cultural events, and art showcases. The hotel aims to serve both business and leisure travelers, offering intelligent workspaces and sustainable amenities like eco-friendly bath products and refillable water stations.
In addition to the physical property, M Social has introduced a virtual hotel experience inspired by the New York location. This digital platform allows global audiences to explore the hotel and participate in interactive games, with opportunities to win discounts on stays.
Introductory rates at the hotel start at $299, with additional rewards available through the MyMillennium loyalty program.
