‘Made in Korea’ Indian & South Korean Movie Starring Priyanka Mohan Coming to Netflix in March 2026

One of the most unique new shows coming to Netflix in March 2026 is Made in Korea. The film stars Priyanka Mohan, a popular Indian actress, as Shenba, a young Tamil woman whose dream of visiting South Korea comes true, but in unforeseen circumstances. A first-time collaboration between India and South Korea on Netflix, the film is sure to draw plenty of interest. Here’s everything we know so far about Made in Korea on Netflix.

Made in Korea is an upcoming Indian and South Korean Netflix Original drama film directed and written by R.A. Karthik and produced by Sreenidhi Sagar. Rise East Entertainment is the production studio behind the film.

When is Made in Korea coming to Netflix?

Netflix has officially confirmed that Made in Korea will be released on March 12, 2026.

A teaser trailer for the series has been released.

What is the plot of Made in Korea?

Netflix has provided a logline for the series:

“The story follows Shenba, a girl from a small town in Tamil Nadu who has always dreamed of visiting Korea. However, when she finally arrives under undesirable circumstances, she finds that life in this familiar yet alien land is far from ideal. Made in Korea is a heartwarming journey of self-discovery, resilience, and the lifelong friendships that Shenba forms along the way.”

Who are the cast members of Made in Korea?

Priyanka Mohan plays the lead role of Shenba.  The actress is best known for her roles in Tamil films such as Doctor, Don, and Etharkkum Thunindhavan, and in Telugu films such as Gang Leader and Saipodhaa Sanivaaram. She has an Instagram following of over 6.4 million.

Park Hye-Jin also plays a leading role. For Netflix subscribers, the actress will be most familiar as the mother of Cho Sang U in Squid Game. She has also starred in Netflix’s Gyeongseong Creature, Juvenile Justice, Hospital Playlist, Life, and Prison Playbook.
