Wizards of the Coast debuted multiple new Magic: The Gathering sets at MagicCon: Chicago today, including one that’s pushing MTG into the edges of the universe. Edge of Eternities is billed as a “adventure-filled, science-fiction space opera” — can I get a “hell yeah” to that? The set isn’t arriving on game store shelves until Aug. 1, but we’ve been offered a preview of some of the gorgeous card art you’ll have a chance to get in packs. Not only that, each of the products that’ll be a part of its launch are available for pre-order, with links below.
Also at MagicCon: Chicago, a new set based on Avatar: The Last Airbender was announced and will debut on Nov. 21. And, for a set that’s launching much sooner, Tarkir: Dragonstorm is hitting shelves April 11 and is available to pre-order now. In non-MagicCon news, it has already been a big year for MTG as it pertains to video game fans, what with pre-orders going live for the gorgeous Final Fantasy set.
