Milan’s hotel industry recorded its highest-ever average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) for March, according to preliminary data from CoStar. The increase was driven by a combination of major events, including Milan Fashion Week, the Winter Paralympics, and the MCE tradeshow.

In March 2026, Milan’s ADR rose 17.2% year over year to EUR 202.42, while RevPAR increased 14.3% to EUR 134.71. Occupancy declined slightly to 66.6%, a 2.5% decrease from the previous year.

ADR peaked during the closing days of Fashion Week (24 February–2 March), reaching EUR 249.60 on Sunday, 1 March. The highest occupancy (91.7%) and RevPAR (EUR 225.83) were recorded on Wednesday, 25 March, the second night of the biennial MCE 2026 tradeshow for the HVAC, renewable energy, and water sectors.

During the Winter Paralympics (6–15 March), occupancy reached 72.3%, with RevPAR peaking at EUR 138.48 on Tuesday, 10 March. The highest ADR during the Games was EUR 214.56 on Friday, 6 March.
