Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta Appoints New General Manager

Christian Wildhaber has been appointed as the General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, effective August 2025.

Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta has announced the appointment of Christian Wildhaber as its new General Manager, starting in August 2025. Wildhaber transitions to this role from his previous position at Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern.

Wildhaber has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in various senior roles in cities across the Asia-Pacific region, including Hong Kong, Sydney, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. His career began in the culinary arts, later expanding into food and beverage management, rooms division, and hotel operations.

Wildhaber has previously worked in Jakarta and Bali and has personal connections to Indonesia. His appointment is expected to support Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, in continuing its operations and service delivery.
