Marisa Tomei, 61, Goes From Hot Pants on the Red Carpet to Ice Dancing Super Fan at the Winter Olympics

Acclaimed actress Marisa Tomei is absolutely ageless on the red carpet during an event at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The Oscar-winning actress, 61, who earned praise for diverse roles ranging from My Cousin Vinny and In the Bedroom to Slums of Beverly Hills and The Wrestler, hit the red carpet at the Omega House opening night during the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Sporting a strapless top and black hotpants, the brunette beauty looked better than ever for the big event. But like everyone else in Italy for the Olympics, Tomei was really there to cheer on the athletes!

 On the same day, Tomei was spotted in the crowds watching the ice dance free dancing team event on day one of the Olympic Games at the Milano Ice Skating Arena. Frequently snapping photos with her cell phone camera and reacting dramatically, the actress was just as relatable as every fan rooting for the athletes as they performed tremendous feats.

Tomei is Playing Rachel Zegler’s Mom

While one look at Tomei makes it hard to believe she’d be old enough to have an adult daughter, the actress is hard at work on a new project in which she plays the mother of actress Rachel Zegler. Last year, Variety announced that Tomei was set to star as Zegler’s mom in She Gets It From Me as the “pill-popping, ex-punk rocker birth mother” who turns her daughter’s engagement celebration upside down while attempting to reconnect.

What’s Next for Marisa Tomei?

While Tomei has a laundry list of tremendous films on her resume, Deadline announced last month that she would join Casey Affleck, Sam Rockwell, and Kathy Bates in The Smack, a project based on the 2017 novel by Richard Lange. According to the piece, the film follows a down-on-his-luck conman, played by Affleck, who teams up with a casino waitress to execute a high-stakes con targeting a hidden cache of stolen U.S. military cash.

 “What starts off as an easy plan spirals into a deadly game of as they collide with dangerous criminals chasing the same score,” the synopsis reads.
