Marriott International has signed an agreement with Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited to develop six hotels across four Indian cities by 2030, adding 940 rooms under five of its brands.

Marriott International announced a new agreement with Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited to open six hotels in India, adding 940 rooms across four cities. The development will include properties under five Marriott brands: The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott.

The agreement involves the construction of six new hotels in key locations, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Kerala, and Thiruvananthapuram. The development is part of Marriott’s strategy to expand its footprint in the Indian market.

The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island in Kerala is expected to open in 2029. It will feature 70 villas, each with a private pool, and include five dining venues, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa. The property will be accessible via a 120-minute drive from Kochi Airport or a 40- to 60-minute speedboat journey from Bolgatty Jetty in Kochi.

JW Marriott Chennai OMR is anticipated to open in 2030, offering 250 rooms and suites. The hotel will include wellness spaces, a spa, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a JW Garden, and five dining venues. It will also feature 1,400 square meters of meeting and event space. The hotel will be located on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, approximately 45 minutes from Chennai International Airport.

The hotel will have 1,115 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa. It will be located 20 minutes from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center is set to open in 2027, featuring 45 rooms and two dining outlets. The hotel will include a fitness center and will be located near major commercial office complexes, 13 kilometers from Chennai International Airport.

Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport is scheduled to open in 2028, with 224 rooms, including suites. The hotel will feature two dining venues, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa. It will be located near the airport and business hubs of the city.

Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia is expected to open by fiscal year 2028, offering 151 rooms. The hotel will include a three-meal restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa. It will be located in the southern part of Bengaluru, an area known for its IT industry.
