Fairfield by Marriott has introduced an upgraded design concept in China, focusing on enhanced functionality and localized guest experiences.

Fairfield by Marriott has announced the launch of a new design upgrade for its hotels in China. The upgrade includes changes to the hotel’s design, functionality, and service offerings, aiming to cater to the evolving needs of travelers in the region.

The redesign focuses on three core areas: The Fairfield Living Room, The Fairfield Restaurant, and Guest Rooms. These areas have been updated to address essential travel needs, such as working, sleeping, bathing, and service. The public spaces now incorporate modern simplicity with functional design elements, using natural wood tones and textures to create a welcoming atmosphere.

The Fairfield Living Room serves as a multifunctional space for work, meetings, and casual gatherings. It features a fireplace and curated artwork to provide a comfortable environment for guests. The space also includes private meeting rooms for small-scale meetings and a market area offering business essentials and local snacks.

The Fairfield Restaurant has been redesigned with an open kitchen layout, allowing for better flow and organization during peak dining hours. The restaurant can expand to connect with The Living Room, providing additional space for guests.

Guest rooms have been updated to balance comfort and efficiency, featuring natural-textured walls and flexible furniture. The rooms are equipped with ergonomic chairs and adjustable desks to meet the needs of business travelers. Bathrooms have been redesigned with glass partitions and solid walls to enhance privacy.

The design upgrade is part of Fairfield by Marriott’s strategy to strengthen its presence in China by offering a localized experience that aligns with the preferences of Chinese travelers. The changes are intended to enhance the brand’s competitiveness in the select service segment.

This initiative is part of Marriott International’s broader efforts to expand its Fairfield brand across key destinations in China, responding to the increasing demand for modern and efficient accommodations.
