Just like I swap out my closet for the fall—taking beloved sweaters out of storage and tucking away breezy summer dresses—I like to do the same for my bedding. Out with the light colors and in with the rich browns, burgundies, rusts and olive greens. I start keeping throw blankets nearby for added layers when the weather finally cools. It’s a whole thing. Because if the colors are changing on the leaves outside, I feel like my decor inside should follow their lead.

Right now I’m loving the fall florals that are lining the shelves at some of my favorite home stores, particularly at Marshalls. Because fall doesn’t mean fresh blooms go away, they’re just different varieties, and they deserve to be celebrated.

The Tahari Floral Duvet Cover Set at Marshalls brings a sophisticated feel to the bedroom with its chocolate brown and white floral print. The deep brown gives the pattern a cozy, slightly moody quality, while the white keeps the overall look feeling fresh rather than heavy. A sateen finish adds a subtle sheen, giving the bedding a polished appearance that can easily dress up the room without feeling overly formal. Made from cotton with a 200 thread count, it has the classic appeal of cotton bedding while bringing a little extra elegance to the bed.

You’ll love that this set includes everything you need to give your bed an instant refresh: The full/queen set ($39.99) comes with one duvet cover and two standard shams, while the king set ($49.99) includes one duvet cover and two king shams. Pair it with crisp white sheets for a clean, classic look or lean into the cozy factor with warm neutrals, wood tones and plenty of texture. And when laundry day rolls around, the set is conveniently machine washable. Frankly, if bedding isn’t machine washable it’s way too high-maintenance for me.

While it isn’t a direct match, the Tahari Floral Duvet Cover Set reminds me a lot of The Company Store’s Stoffer Home Charming Floral Reversible Duvet Cover Set, which retails for anywhere from $164 – $299 depending on the size you buy. There are some key differences, like the Tahari duvet isn’t reversible like The Company Store style, but they’re both a 200-thread count. Similar vibes, vastly different price points.
