Fans are convinced that Martha Stewart “outdid” herself during this year’s Thanksgiving preparations after the cookbook author shared new photos of her baking results on Instagram.
Stewart, 83, revealed in her post on Thursday, Nov. 28, that she baked a whopping 35 pies for the holiday. The project took “two days , 100 eggs, 14 pounds pecan halves, eleven jars Karo syrup, 25 pounds heckers flour, thirty pounds plugra butter, six cups maple syrup, 60 ounces pumpkin puree, 18 cups fres cranberries, etc,” the lifestyle guru explained.

Stewart, who is known fondly among some fans as the “Queen of Thanksgiving,” baked five different pie flavors ahead of this year’s holiday: chocolate pecan, brown butter maple rum pecan, pumpkin phyllo, apple crumb, and cranberry. Though her baking volume was likely much different from what most of her social media followers were taking on for the holiday, many were relieved to see one relatable detail in Stewart’s post.
“I used three big ovens which are a mess now because I stupidly forgot to place cookie sheets under some of the pies which bubbled and oozed everywhere,” Stewart admitted. Despite the mess, she celebrated the final results, writing, “the pies are delicious!”

Stewart’s 10-part Instagram carousel kicked off with a photo of her standing at the end of a long kitchen countertop, on which more than one dozen of the baked pies were placed. Subsequent photos showed close-up views of several pies, and one image included in the series also showed Stewart’s “Thanksgiving 2024 Pie Pie Chart,” which detailed how many of each pie flavor she’d planned to cook.
“This is why we LOVE you!! Go Martha!! 🥧,” one fan commented as another gushed, “Wow they all looks delicious. 😋❤️😘,” and a third wrote, “Epic. My hero.”
“My entire being is salivating 🦃😍❤️,” one Instagram user declared.
“Outdid yourself Miss Martha! 🦃🥧❤️,” a fan wrote as another Instagram user praised the “Queen,” writing that the pies “all look divine!”
