Who voices Blade in Marvel Zombies?
Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali was announced as the live-action character of Blade at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019. Unfortunately, since then, the film has faced countless delays. While the character of Blade Knight is making his MCU debut in Marvel Zombies, according to a story in EW, it is voiced by Todd Williams, not Ali.

What’s the difference between Blade and Blade Knight?
According to an article in Variety, Blade Knight is a Moon Knight and Blade variant, a blend of the two characters. The Moon Knight series on Disney+ starred Oscar Isaac in the titular role and debuted in 2022.

Marvel.com describes the plot of Marvel Zombies as, “After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.”
What is Marvel Zombies rated?
While a rating for the series hasn’t been officially announced, in a 2024 interview with IGN, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios Head of Streaming, Television and Animation stated, “In terms of more mature animation, yeah, we’re making a Marvel Zombies show right now that is pretty intense that’s for sure a TV-MA show.”

Is Marvel Zombies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Yes! The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman launched Marvel Zombies as a comic series in 2005, set in an alternate universe where Earth’s heroes had been transformed into the undead. Bryan Andrews adapted the comic into What If…Zombies?, which was the fifth episode of Season 1 of the animated What If…? anthology series.
Marvel Zombies was created by Andrews and Zeb Wells but remains in an alternate universe. So yes, the series is part of the MCU. However, it is not part of the “Sacred Timeline” of Earth-616 like another recently released Marvel animated series, Eyes of Wakanda.
