ME by Meliá has opened a new hotel in Lisbon, featuring 213 rooms and suites.
ME by Meliá has launched its first hotel in Portugal with the opening of ME Lisbon, located at Marquês de Pombal in Lisbon. The hotel offers 213 rooms and suites, including the 107-square-meter Ultimate ME+ Suite, which provides panoramic views of the city and the São Jorge Castle.
The hotel is designed by the João Paciência studio with interiors by Broadway Malyan. It features a collection of contemporary Portuguese art curated by Guta Moura Guedes. The design incorporates elements inspired by Lisbon’s creative energy, such as jacaranda-inspired lilacs and sculptural ceramics.
ME Lisbon includes two culinary venues: Fismuler, located on the ground floor, offers seasonal cuisine in a Nordic-inspired setting, and Attiko by Sunset Hospitality, a rooftop dining space with a pan-Asian menu. The rooftop also features the Attiko Rooftop Pool Bar, which provides views of the city.
The hotel is equipped with a wellness center, KORPO Spa, which includes a heated indoor pool, Turkish bath, dry sauna, and various treatments. A 24/7 Technogym studio is also available for guests.
ME Lisbon aims to serve as a cultural hub with an artistic and social calendar that includes partnerships with events such as ARCO Lisboa and Lisbon Design Week. The hotel features spaces designed to host art, music, fashion, and innovation events.
The opening of ME Lisbon marks the entry of the ME by Meliá brand into the Portuguese market.
