While Meghan Markle has her fair share of critics, the Duchess of Sussex has plenty of loyal fans, too. So while it was no surprise when her first As Ever product launch sold out almost immediately, it was still a disappointment — which the lifestyle entrepreneur was quick to address.
As People reported, As Ever’s Limited-Edition Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb — which retails for $28 — sold out in less than five minutes, and some orders were accidentally taken after the inventory was already depleted.

The 43-year-old addressed frustrated consumers in a letter shared on social media, promising to make up for the error.
“My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been!” she wrote. “Thank you for the support. It really means so much to me.”
“I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we are not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey,” she continued. “Please know the team worked very hard in every department and felt just as sad when we learned what had happened/ I know it’s not the same as the limited edition item you had your heart set on (I would feel the same!) so I would also like to promise you something else.”
“When our next limited edition item drop happens, you won’t just be the first to know … you’ll be the first to receive it,” Markle added. “No need to order, it will come to you in the mail as a gift from me.”
“Thank you again for your understanding and support, and for continuing to celebrate with us during this exciting time of launch,” she concluded the letter. “So much more goodness is coming soon.”

Markle’s supporters were impressed with her efforts to smooth things over with As Ever customers.
“Awwww too cool, now that’s great customer service,” one person wrote.
“OMG this is just wonderful to see. Meghan is brilliant,” added someone else, with another commenter calling the missive a “beautiful apology letter.”
In addition to the highly coveted honey, As Ever’s debut product collection also includes herbal teas, crepe mix, flower sprinkles, and Markle’s trademark raspberry jam.
