Meghan Markle Sends Direct Message to Her Haters With New Footage of Princess Lilibet

11 October 20252 Mins Read

Meghan Markle is making a bold statement in honor of International Day of the Girl—and even sending a direct message to her critics—with new footage of her rarely-seen daughter, PrincessLilibet. Markle shared the video and a photo Saturday along with an encouraging message to all young girls, including her own.

In her social media post, Markle posted a video of her daughter Lilibet (4) running through a large, grassy field. The little one’s long, ginger locks can be seen tied loosely back as she fiercely runs. Markle also shared a photo of herself and her daughter, barefoot and walking in a beautiful, lush green outdoor area.

Markle captioned her post with an empowering message for International Day of the Girl:

“To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you.

It’s your right and our responsibility.

Go get ‘em girl! 🏃‍♀️

Happy International Day of the Girl”

Harry and Meghan Stand Up Against Predatory Social Media Policies

Meghan and Harry have made advocacy for children one of their biggest initiatives in their new lives as non-working royals. They have been outspoken about the need for social media regulation to protect children from bullying and predators.

On Friday, Meghan spoke at the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Summit, introducing author Jonathan Haidt, whose The Anxious Generation has spent 80 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List.

Meghan and Harry received the Project Healthy Minds’ Humanitarian of the Year award Thursday night at the group’s gala, and then returned the next day to introduce Haidt and attend panels and discussions on the subject of social media and its effects on children.

In his remarks the next day, Haidt commended the royal duo for their work on behalf of children, stating:

“I just know that they have been bringing together the parents, helping the parents tell their story—helping them say that their child’s life matters.”
