Mews has announced its acquisition of Clarity Hospitality Software Solutions. This move will extend Mews’ operations in Asia Pacific (APAC) and the UK.
Clarity, established in New Zealand in 1992, offers property and event management systems to upscale properties and hotels. It expanded its presence to the UK in 2016 and now serves several hotel groups, event venues, and independent hotels throughout APAC and the UK.
Currently, Mews’ technology is utilized by numerous hotels in APAC and the UK. This acquisition will bolster Mews’ presence in these regions as more hotels embrace its technology to enhance their guest services.
In the past year, Mews has gained significant momentum. Its valuation has crossed $1 billion, its platform users exceed 75,000 worldwide, and its customer base in the UK and APAC has grown by 42% and 16%, respectively.
Matt Welle, CEO of Mews, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that it aligns with their vision to create a truly connected network of hotels globally.
