According to The Hollywood Reporter, Drew Pearce wrote the script for the new movie after Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson penned a previous draft. Patrick McCormick and Mac Toberoff will be credited as producers, while Alan Trustman, the writer of the original film, will serve as an executive producer.

The 2027 remake will be produced by Outlier Society, Jordan’s production company that was launched in 2016. Outlier Society has already produced multiple films and TV shows, including Creed III (2023) and Without Remorse (2021). The upcoming TV shows Fourth Wing and The Greatest are currently in production.

Fans can expect The Thomas Crown Affair to come out in theaters on March 5, 2027.
