Braun Hospitality LLC has chosen Mereté Hotel Management to manage a new 86-room hotel in Florence, Oregon. The Microtel by Wyndham Florence, Oregon, broke ground on December 9th, 2025, and is expected to open in Spring 2027. The hotel will offer leisure, conference, and business travelers a new and modern way to stay in the heart of the central Oregon coast.
“Florence is a popular destination for in and out-of-state visitors; this new hotel will offer a modern home base for those travelers looking to explore the central coast. In addition, the new hotel will support the Florence Event Center by offering overnight accommodations for multiday events and conferences,” shared Liz Dahlager, COO, Mereté Hotel Management.
The hotel will include the Microtel by Wyndham brand’s new sleek look with a streamlined guest experience and a stylish feel. Hotel amenities will include an on-site bar, complimentary breakfast, and ergonomic workstations.
Conveniently located near the Florence Events Center and historic downtown, the new hotel will become a destination for those visiting the area. Florence is located an hour west of Eugene and an hour south of Newport. Florence is known for its world-famous dunes, accessibility verified by Wheel the World, and is home to Heceta Head Lighthouse.
