Minor Hotels has appointed Milan Jajčanin as hotel manager of Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles. Jajčanin will oversee day-to-day operations at the 192-key resort, working with the leadership team to drive operational discipline, enhance guest satisfaction, and support a high-performing culture across all departments.
Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles is located on Mahé’s west coast, approximately 30 minutes from Seychelles International Airport. The resort reopened in June 2025 after a full-scale refurbishment, now offering upgraded accommodation including Lagoon Access Rooms, an expanded pool area, multiple dining venues and bars, an AvaniSpa, and a curated programme of cultural experiences.
Jajčanin brings experience in hotel operations and food and beverage leadership, with a focus on service delivery, team development, and guest experience management. He is recognized for a hands-on, detail-driven approach and has supported performance improvements across multi-department environments.
Avani’s development pipeline includes Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane in Laos and Avani Kota Kinabalu Hotel in Malaysia, both opening in Q2 2026, as well as Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel in Australia, which will also launch in Q2 2026. Avani Queenstown in New Zealand is scheduled for Q3 2026, and Avani Wollongong in Australia is set to open in 2027.
