Montreal Airport is hiring and some jobs pay up $23 an hour without a degree

If you’re job hunting in Montreal and want something steady without needing a university degree, Montreal-Trudeau Airport is full of opportunities. Several airlines and stores are currently hiring, and many only require a high school diploma or equivalent.

From kitchen gigs to customer service, these positions offer decent starting pay (often with night and weekend premiums), employee benefits, and chances to move up through internal training and career pathways. Some even come with travel perks, depending on the employer.

Reservations Agent

Company: Air Inuit

Salary: Between $42,582 and $52,045 per year

Description: The position involves handling customer calls, making and changing reservations, processing payments, confirming flights, and answering questions about airline policies. Description: This person will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying various electromechanical, electrical equipment and refrigeration systems in the buildings of the Montréal-Trudeau airport. The position also involves conducting inspections in accordance with current standards and maintaining maintenance records.

Who can apply: Individuals holding a vocational studies diploma (DEP) in refrigeration, a qualification certificate in refrigeration systems, and the H1 environmental certificate (Halocarbons). A certificate in electricity is an asset. 5 years of relevant experience is required, as well as a valid driver’s license. Fluency in French is essential.
