Montreal’s Royalmount has unveiled 14+ more brands and a restaurant coming to the mega-mall, Life in canada

5 July 20253 Mins Read

As Royalmount Montreal’s opening date approaches, anticipation is at an all-time high regarding which stores and restaurants you’ll be able to shop and dine at once the new luxury mega-mall starts welcoming visitors. Lucky for you, shopaholics, we come to you with updates in that department.

Slated for September, Royalmount’s first phase consists of an 824,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor retail and lifestyle complex spanning two levels. The $7-billion shopping centre, located in midtown, is ultimately set to feature 170+ shops, including 60 dining spots, experiential attractions and a 1.8 hectare urban park.

A bunch of the brands and stores that visitors can expect to find at Royalmount have already been revealed over the past couple of years, including Zara, Nike, Moncler, Longchamp, Anine Bing, Mango, H&M, Alo Yoga, Veronica Beard, Canada Goose, Sephora, Roche Bobois, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Versace.

Thanks to recent news releases, we now know of even more retail concepts and eateries that will be part of the development’s offerings — and if you love fancy watches, you’re going to be very happy.

The final countdown

In the last month before Royalmount opens its doors, it has announced an additional 14 high-end jewelry and watch brands that’ll be joining its fleet.

This includes Rolex’s largest Canadian boutique, operated by Raffi Jewellers, and TimeVallée’s very first Canadian store in partnership with Maison Birks.

The flagship TimeVallée store, according to a press release, will span an impressive 2,800 square feet, hosting a curated selection of watches from seven of the most prestigious ‘Maisons’ worldwide: Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Chopard, Grand Seiko, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai and Piaget, each presented in a distinctive setting that emphasizes its unique heritage and craftsmanship.

World-renowned watch brands Tudor, Breitling, IWC and Omega will also be debuting their own boutiques, all firsts in Quebec, while Maison Monaco is set to stock Zenith, Longines, Frederique Constant and Roberto Coin.

Montblanc, Swarovski and Pandora will also be welcomed onto the Royalmount store directory.

Though not officially announced, Japanese fashion retailer UNIQLO has quietly added an upcoming Royalmount location to its website.

For those of you who are just as much about eating as you are shopping, Montreal institution Olive et Gourmando has also announced plans to call Royalmount home this fall.

This marks the restaurant, bakery, café and boutique’s second location and first expansion beyond the Old Port.

Although a redesigned menu by Chef Frédéric St-Aubin (Restaurant Moleskine) is in the works, specifically catering to Royalmount’s clientele of locals and tourists alike, you’re still likely to find old favourites on offer.

“This new address promises sincere cuisine, with a menu designed to appeal to foodies from Montreal and elsewhere. The classics that made Olive et Gourmando famous will be accompanied by new dishes, always homemade, comforting and warm,” a press email reads.

Unlike the original branch, Royalmount’s Olive et Gourmando is expected to serve dinner in addition lunch.

Royalmount is currently set to open on September 5.
