Morgan Wallen Joins in Celebrating Upcoming Wedding After Sister's Engagement News

21 September 20253 Mins Read

Morgan Wallen is celebrating his younger sister Ashlyne as she prepares to walk down the aisle for the very first time!

The country music superstar, 32, was on hand to ring in the exciting news with Ashlyne and her new fiancé, Skylor Morton, following their surprise engagement announcement on social media late last month. In a recent post dated Monday, Sept. 15, on Ashlyne’s Instagram page, the bride-to-be can be seen enjoying time with her future husband and with friends and family while in a boat on the water.

“Celebratory moments after the 💍,” Ashlyne captioned a carousel of photos that feature her in a stunning yellow silk gown with spaghetti straps.

In the first snapshot, Ashlyne poses alongside Morton, who is dressed in a white buttoned-down shirt. Another photo features Wallen smiling from ear to ear as his younger engaged sibling holds up her hand to show off her new bling.

A video included in the spread also shows Ashlyne and her crew riding around in a vehicle while singing the words to Wallen’s “Love Somebody” hit as she flashes her ring for all to see. Wallen is the oldest and only boy of his family, and he has three siblings overall. Aside from Ashlyne, he is the brother of Mikaela and his adopted sister, Lacey.

Judging by Wallen’s comments below the post, it seems Ashlyne is currently the only person who can twist her famous brother’s arm when it comes to attending a wedding.

“I said I was never going to a wedding again…guess I’ll make an exception,” the “I’m the Problem” hitmaker wrote below the post.

As he should, because the wedding is bound to be beautiful.

Ashlyne Wallen and Skylor Morton Got Engaged Late Last Month

On Sunday, Aug. 24, Ashlyne and Morton revealed their engagement by writing the words, “YES to forever” alongside a slew of photos in a joint Instagram post that shows the future husband and wife standing amid an array of florals and candles with a skyline in the background.

Several country music artists poured out congratulatory messages for the happy couple, including RaeLynn, who wrote, “Congrats” in all caps.

“Congrats, y’all,” Cole Swindell added, with Lily Rose writing, “Congrats!”

For the photos, Ashlyne and Morton, who share an infant daughter named Leighton Sky, wore the same apparel as in their celebration shots with friends and family. However, this time, Ashlyne accessorized her dress with a matching scarf around her neck.

“Couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful moment.💛 I love you.” The pair wrote alongside a third round of pictures from their moment of celebration.

Ashlyne and Skylor have not shared any news regarding the planning process since their engagement, but they’re likely soaking in the moment as new fiancés.
