Accor has signed an agreement to develop a new Mövenpick hotel in West Cairo, set to open in 2028.
Accor has announced the development of a new hotel under the Mövenpick brand in West Cairo, Egypt. The project, which involves a 220-room hotel, is scheduled for completion and opening in 2028. This development is part of a larger mixed-use area in the growing region of Sheikh Zayed City.
The new Mövenpick Cairo West will be strategically located to cater to business and leisure travelers, providing easy access to major business districts, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities. The hotel is also conveniently positioned near popular attractions such as the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids, approximately 20-30 minutes away by car.
The hotel will feature 220 guest rooms and suites and offer a range of amenities, including two restaurants, a bar, a 500-square-meter ballroom, and four meeting rooms. Additional facilities will include a spa, a fitness center, and two swimming pools, aiming to meet the needs of both leisure and business guests.
This new development is aligned with the broader goals of Egypt Vision 2030, which focuses on urban expansion and growth. The Mövenpick Cairo West is expected to contribute to the local economy by attracting domestic and international travelers and creating employment opportunities in the region.
The signing of Mövenpick Cairo West is part of Accor’s ongoing efforts to increase its presence in high-potential markets across the Middle East and Africa.
The development is being carried out in collaboration with Crest Development, through its real estate subsidiary Living Lines.
