Moxy Ottawa Downtown is located near Rideau Street, Gatineau, and Ottawa business, entertainment, shopping and cultural destinations. The hotel is operated by RIMAP Hospitality Services Inc.
The opening follows the 2025 opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Ottawa Downtown. Renaissance Hotel Ottawa Downtown is set to follow in 2027.
The property features industrial-chic interiors, guestrooms, communal lounges, flexible coworking areas, a fitness center and flexible gathering spaces. Guestrooms include walk-in showers, motion-activated LED guide lights, wall-mounted storage and flexible layouts.
Moxy Bar is open daily for breakfast and dinner, offering handcrafted cocktails and casual dining. Weekly entertainment and social programming are scheduled to include game nights, live DJ performances, themed events and interactive experiences.
The hotel’s Moxy brand ambassador, Mox, is a moose displayed in the lobby atop a custom motorcycle. The character appeared in social media teasers before the hotel’s opening and will continue to be part of the property’s identity.
