‘My Dress Up Darling’ is Coming to Netflix in April 2026

The popular romantic-comedy anime My Dress Up Darling is coming to Netflix on April 25, 2026. It’s unclear if the second season of the anime will also be added, but the series will be available to stream for the first time on Netflix across multiple regions.

My Dress Up Darling is a Japanese romantic-comedy anime series produced by CloverWorks, and is an adaptation of the manga The Bisque Doll Falls in Love (translated from the Japanese title) by author and illustrator Shinichi Fukuda. The first chapter of the manga was published in January 2018, and by October 2025, 15 million copies were in circulation.

The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll, and weekly episodes of new seasons have been available to stream on the service. 

Wakana Gojo has a passion for crafting hina dolls, but, due to past trauma, he hides it from his classmates. But when the beautiful Marin Kitagawa discovers his talent, she begins to encourage him to make cosplay costumes, and a beauitful friendship begins.

When is My Dress Up Darling coming to Netflix?

We can confirm that My Dress Up Darling will be released on Netflix on April 25, 2026. Netflix Spain has revealed the release date, but it hasn’t been shown on the Netflix US, UK, and Canada apps or web browsers yet.

The anime will be coming to multiple Netflix regions on April 25, and so far, we can confirm this will be at least the USA, UK, and Spain.

It’s unclear if both seasons of My Dress Up Darling will be coming to Netflix, or just the first. We expect to learn more closer to the release date.

Currently, the only regions you can stream My Dress Up Darling in are Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand. Both seasons of My Dress Up Darling are available to stream in those regions.
