Nammos Hotels & Resorts and Smokva Bay to Open Nammos Resort Montenegro in 2029

Nammos Hotels & Resorts and Smokva Bay have entered into a partnership to develop Nammos Resort Montenegro, a fully integrated luxury lifestyle destination at Smokva Bay on Montenegro’s Budva Riviera, scheduled to open in 2029.

Located ten minutes from the island of Sveti Stefan, the project will include a luxury resort, branded residences, signature dining, curated retail, and wellness experiences. The development will comprise 117 keys, including 47 hotel suites, 61 branded residences, and 9 branded villas.

The resort’s design draws inspiration from Mediterranean and Cycladic architectural traditions, featuring sculpted forms, natural materials, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The residences are designed to maximize natural light and sea views, blending with Montenegro’s landscape and cultural character.

Dining venues will include the Nammos Restaurant, Nalu (an all-day dining concept), Ilios Lounge (a cocktail and social venue), and a rooftop pool bar with views of the Adriatic. Nammos Village, at the center of the development, will offer art, shopping, and wellbeing experiences. Additional amenities will include a spa, fitness facilities, swimming pools, private dining venues, family experiences, and beachfront amenities.

The development will provide access to hiking and mountain biking trails in the surrounding terrain, as well as curated wellness and outdoor fitness experiences.

Ahead of its 2029 opening, Nammos Restaurant will operate a pop-up at Sveti Stefan throughout the 2026 season, offering al fresco dining and views of the resort.

The partnership marks the first introduction of the Nammos lifestyle to Montenegro, combining luxury hospitality, branded residences, dining, and wellness experiences in a coastal setting.
