Naomi Osaka’s Labubu Game at US Open Has Fans Obsessed

29 August 20253 Mins Read

Naomi Osaka continued to bring her sparkle, figuratively and literally, as she returned to the 2025 US Open.

The tennis star made a triumphant comeback after dominating American Hailey Baptiste in the second round with a commanding 6-3, 6-1 victory.

True to form, the two-time women’s champion didn’t just bring power to the court, she also served serious style at the US Open, turning heads with her fashion game.

In an Instagram update, she shared with her followers the highlights from the match—from stepping onto the arena with a captivating look to introducing a special companion.

Osaka’s outfit featured a head-to-toe violet set. The 27-year-old arrived in a shimmering Nike jacket paired with a racerback top and bubble-hemmed skirt.

Known as someone with serious game day fits, she slayed the look with a violet visor, blue crystal-covered headphones and a bedazzled Labubu.

“Arthur Flashe made his debut today,” she wrote, introducing her new charm toy.

Interestingly, her latest move was a nod to tennis legend Arthur Ashe.

In the comment section, fans expressed how “obsessed” they are with Osaka’s growing collection of Labubus.

“Obsessed with the Labubu Collection,” one wrote.

“In purple?! Obsessed!!” a commenter echoed.

A third user echoed the same and noted, “Truly love how u are showing off your Labubu collection and giving them names.”

Moreover, fans continue to hype the tennis star’s creative habit of dressing her toy and naming them after sports icons.

“Are Billie Jean Bling, Arthur Flashe! siblings or cousins? Or friends?” a follower said.

“Two legends of the sport honoured in the coolest way. Brilliant. Keep winning ,” a supporter added.

The same thing goes for a commenter who remarked, “Omg he’s too cute! Love that Billie Jean Bling has a friend lol.”

“I love how you have Labubu’s to match all your outfits and you even bling them out. They truly are shining bright like you,” a user wrote.

Meanwhile, one follower playfully asked, “Will he also get his own credential?”

Prior to her second round at the tournament, Osaka brought along Billie Jean Bling, a Labubu she named after the Grand Slam queen, Billie Jean King.

At the time, Osaka wore a red Nike set just like her little charm bag as she defeated Belgian player Greet Minnen with a 6-3, 6-4 victory.

With her back-to-back win, she advanced to the third round alongside Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner.
