Netflix India’s New Sports Drama

Netflix India has plenty of Original crime thrillers, but their latest Hindi series comes with a twist. Glory combines murder mystery with family drama, all set within the world of competitive boxing.

Glory was announced at the Next on Netflix 2025 event early that year, with the press materials highlighting the sporty nature of the series. Filming began in Punjab shortly thereafter, wrapping up in mid-May 2025. Plenty of preparation went into the shoot, with actor Pulkit Samrat — who makes his web series lead debut with Glory — training extensively to portray a boxer. Netflix even staged a bout between Samrat and professional boxer and Ultimate Beastmaster Season 2 contestant Neeraj Goyat to promote the release of the show’s trailer.

This is the second collaboration between Netflix and filmmaker Karan Anshuman‘s Atomic Films after the Original series Rana Naidu, which ran for two seasons. Anshuman created and co-wrote Glory with Rana Naidu writer Karmanya Ahuja. Dialogue was written by Vaibhav Vishal, another Rana Naidu co-writer. Anshuman shares directing duties on the new series with Kanishk Varma (Footfairy).

At its core, Glory brings to the fore a fractured family forced back together. Raghubir Singh (Suvinder Vicky), a formidable boxing coach driven by an obsession with Olympic glory, struggles to hold together a legacy that is slowly unraveling under the weight of strained relationships. His sons Dev (Divyenndu) and Ravi (Pulkit Samrat) return to Shaktigarh to uncover the truth behind the brutal assault on their sister Gudiya (Jannat Zubair) and the mysterious death of a rising Olympic boxing star — Nihal Singh.

Glory has a TV-MA rating in the United States for violence, language, gore, and smoking.
