Netflix’s One Piece finally shows its first full trailer during One Piece Day

9 August 20252 Mins Read

Netflix’s hit live-action series One Piece just got its first official trailer as part of the franchise’s annual day of celebration.

The trailer for One Piece season 2 debuted during One Piece Day 2025, where it showcased returning cast members, Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami(Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson), and Sanji (Taz Skylar) facing off against the secret Baroque Works organization. The second season of the live action series is also sporting a new subhead as One Piece: Into The Grand Line.

The trailer shows the friendly giant Brogy (Brendan Murray)towering over Robin, Miss Wednesday, also known as Vivi (played by Charithra Chandran) and Miss All Sunday (Lera Abova) using her Hana Hana no Mi devil fruit in action. Curious enough, the trailer does not off Tony Tony Chopper, recently introduced to fans during Netflix’s Tudum event, or any scenes that take place on Drum Island before his recruitment as a Straw Hat.

The official One Piece: Into The Grand Line logline reads: “Netflix’s epic high-seas pirate adventure, ONE PIECE, returns for Season 2—unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line—a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”

A slew of Baroque Work members will be introduced in season 2 as well, including leader Mr. 0/Sir Crocodile, played by Joe Maginello, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta. Mikaela Hoover will provide the voice and facial motion capture for Chopper.

One Piece season 2 premieres on Netflix some time in 2026.
