  • Sojourn Lodging has officially opened its first tiny house resort in the Smoky Mountains, near Pigeon Forge.
  • The resort offers various amenities, including a pickleball court, community fire pits, walking trails, and a mountain observation deck.

Sojourn Lodging, a new concept in boutique accommodations, has unveiled its inaugural tiny house resort in the Smoky Mountains. Nestled near Pigeon Forge and the Wears Valley entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the resort is now open for business. It offers guests a unique blend of outdoor beauty and modern comfort.

Each standalone tiny house unit has a full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, a kitchenette, and a loft bedroom with a queen-size bed. These amenities offer guests a comfortable alternative to traditional camping while providing a more distinctive experience than standard hotel accommodations. Sojourn Lodging’s tiny house resort is designed to cater to various guests, from couples seeking a romantic getaway to individuals desiring a solo retreat.

Local community aesthetics heavily influence Sojourn Lodging’s approach to tiny house resorts. For their Smoky Mountains resort, the tiny houses were intentionally designed to resemble traditional Smoky Mountain cabins. The resort adopts a “less is more” philosophy, providing guests with a space to prioritize connection, exploration, and adventure.

The resort’s on-site amenities are designed to foster a sense of community and relaxation among guests. These include a pickleball court, community fire pits ideal for starlit evenings, scenic walking trails, a welcoming indoor gathering space at the Welcome Center, and a mountain observation deck providing breathtaking views of Mount LeConte.

Sojourn Lodging’s tiny house resort in the Smoky Mountains is the company’s first of its kind, and it plans to expand into other Southeast United States communities, including Chattanooga and Shenandoah. This new offering in boutique accommodations emphasizes the growing trend of experiential hospitality, with businesses creating unique, localized experiences for guests.
