Hyatt has launched its second Caption hotel in the United States, situated in Nashville’s Gulch District. The Caption by Hyatt Downtown Nashville is a collaboration between New Orleans-based HRI Hospitality and Nashville’s C. B. Ragland Company. HRI Lodging, LLC will manage the hotel.
The 210-room hotel provides 2,200 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, a large fitness center, and common spaces for work and socializing. Additionally, it features Café Between, a lounge serving coffee and cocktails throughout the day.
The hotel’s design is inspired by the city’s culture, music, and the history of the Gulch neighborhood, a former industrial and railroad hub. The guestrooms reflect this heritage with bold colors and décor inspired by train yards, while the meeting rooms are named after rail industry terms.
The hotel boasts modern amenities, including self-service check-in kiosks in the lobby, digital keys, and TV streaming in guestrooms. Efforts to reduce waste include large format amenities in bathrooms and a rainwater harvesting system.
Café Between, the hotel’s all-day café and cocktail lounge, offers a space for guests and locals to connect. The hotel also provides 2,200 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, with catering available.
World of Hyatt members can save up to 25% to celebrate the grand opening, while non-members can save 20% until March 10, 2025, for stays now through May 31, 2025.
The Caption by Hyatt Nashville is co-owned by HRI Hospitality, C.B. Ragland, and Peachtree Hotel Group and operated by HRI Lodging. Hastings Architecture, LLC, was the architectural design firm, and Studio 11 designed the interior. JE Dunn was the project’s general contractor.
