New First-of-Its-Kind Reese’s Dessert Is the ‘Best Collab Ever’ 

If you’re a fan of sticking your Reese’s peanut butter cups in the freezer before indulging in the chocolate and peanut butter candy, you’re going to want to head down to your local Shake Shack.

The beloved burger chain is teaming up with Reese’s and turning America’s number one Halloween candy into a crackable shake. The new dessert offering from Shake Shack reimagines the candy and turns it into a sensory experience. “Guests will crack through a hard chocolate shell to a peanut butter cup-inspired center, built to replicate the eating experience of the candy itself – especially for those who prefer their Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups frozen,” a representative for Shake Shack told Parade. 

The shake features vanilla frozen custard, hand-spun with Reese’s creamy peanut butter and fudge sauce, all poured into a crackable dark chocolate shell and then topped with whipped cream, Reese’s mini peanut butter cups, and chopped Reese’s Pieces.

“Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are one of America’s most delicious iconic treats, and perfect for Halloween. We wanted fans to experience the same crack-and-bite experience in a shake. Building on the success of our crackable shells, this dark chocolate version helps deliver the sweet and salty flavor in every sip that tastes just like a frozen peanut butter cup,” John Karangis, Executive Chef & VP of Culinary Innovation, Shake Shack, told Parade in a statement.

Shake Shack teased the launch on Instagram with a carousel of images of the different ingredients, writing, “when life gives you peanut butter and chocolate and custard and Reese’s” before showing a photo of the complete shake with overlaid text that reads, “you make the best collab ever.” 

Fans flooded the comments to share their excitement, declaring, “This is exactly what I have in mind when I say fall,” “Hold on I need to try this,” and “We’re ready for this.”
