The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Gateway Goa, Palolem, a 160-room hotel located in South Goa. This development marks the company’s 250th operational hotel, expanding its presence in the region.
Gateway Goa, Palolem is situated between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats, providing access to Rajbagh, Patnem, and Colomb beaches. The hotel features a variety of amenities, including a spa, a gym, and a swimming pool. Dining options at the hotel include Trophé, which offers cocktails, and 74 NE, a rooftop bistro serving international cuisine.
The hotel aims to cater to both leisure and business travelers with its event venues designed for social gatherings and corporate events. The opening of Gateway Goa, Palolem, adds to IHCL’s portfolio in Goa, bringing the total number of hotels in the area to 19, with an additional five hotels currently under development.
The new hotel also offers activities that highlight local culture and adventure, such as traditional feni-making, kayaking, and turtle spotting.
