New Hallmark-Netflix Deal Will Bring More Beloved Holiday Movies to Streaming Giant

23 September 20252 Mins Read

More Hallmark joy coming to Netflix? Yes please!

Hallmark Media and the streaming giant have inked a new and expanded output deal that will bring new content to Netflix users in the U.S., according to The Hollywood Reporter. It will also bring Hallmark’s signature holiday movies to Netflix users outside of the U.S.,

The companies had partnered on a deal in 2024 that brought 10 of Hallmark’s Christmas movies to Netflix.

“Hallmark was pleased with our linear viewership and Hallmark+ engagement and subscriber growth after the [2024] Netflix deal,” Jesse Wallace, senior VP and head of distribution at Hallmark Media, told THR. “We’re confident the strategic windowing of our content through this branded licensing agreement will fuel our linear and SVOD businesses.”

The new deal announced this week is more expansive, bringing the first two seasons of the Hallmark series The Way Home to Netflix users in the U.S. next month, season three in February of 2026, and season four in late 2026, after its debut on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+, as THR reported.

It also includes a number of Valentines Day-themed movies, which will debut on Netflix in the U.S. in January 2026. The list includes:

  • An Unexpected Valentine
  • Sisterhood, Inc.
  • The Royal We
  • Hats Off to Love
  • Love in the Clouds

The deal also brings Hallmark’s Christmas movies to select markets outside the U.S. beginning in November, and running through January, THR reports. Those films include:

  • Haul Out the Holly
  • Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up
  • All I Need for Christmas
  • Christmas Under the Lights
  • Our Holiday Story

In other Hallmark news, Laura Vandervoorttook to TikTok on September 19 with a sneak peek at her upcoming holiday romance, Melt My Heart This Christmas, co-starring Stephen Huszar. That same day, the Smallville alum doubled down on the holiday hype by sharing the official poster on Instagram.
