Netflix closed out 2025 with a massive influx of Indian movies and series.
With nearly five dozen Indian films added to Netflix this month, there’s no complaining that “there’s nothing to watch!” The bulk of the additions are back-catalogue titles from the studio Yash Raj Films, but there are a bunch of licensed 2025 theatrical releases as well. The movie lineup also includes the Original Tamil thriller Stephen and an Original Hindi sequel to Raat Akeli Hai.
On the series front, December saw the return of The Great Indian Kapil Show and the debut of the Original comedy Single Papa (which has already been renewed). Netflix hasn’t produced any Original Telugu series yet, so they licensed a pair of Telugu shows from the Indian streaming service ETV Win.

Ranveer Singh started his acting career with Yash Raj Films. To celebrate his 15th anniversary in the industry, YRF put together a collection of five movies he made for the studio. The collection is part of an ongoing event that started last month in which dozens of YRF movies are integrated into the Netflix catalogue (including two more special events later in December).

The followup to the terrific 2020 Netflix Original movie Raat Akeli Hai sees Inspector Jatil Yadav (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) back for another convoluted, high-profile case. Multiple members of the wealthy Bansal family are murdered one night in gruesome fashion. Despite an obvious primary suspect, Inspector Yadav thinks the case is more complicated than meets the eye. Though originally filmed in Tamil and Telugu, Netflix only carries the Hindi-dubbed version of Baahubali: The Epic.
