JW Marriott has announced the opening of its new hotel at Reston Station, a mixed-use development in Reston, Virginia. The hotel offers 247 guest rooms, including 14 junior suites, four executive suites, and a presidential suite. It is strategically located with access to Metro’s Silver Line, providing connectivity to Dulles International Airport, Tysons Corner, and Washington, D.C.
The hotel features over 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including an 11,700-square-foot ballroom. This makes it the largest luxury meeting venue in Northern Virginia. The facilities are designed to host up to 1,300 guests and are equipped with modern technology and a dedicated support team.
Dining options at the hotel include The Simon, a restaurant with influences from the Mid-Atlantic, French, and Mediterranean regions; Schar Bar, a lounge offering cocktails and an extensive wine collection; and JW Market, a café featuring baked goods and locally inspired specialties. The hotel also has a JW Garden, which provides herbs and produce for its culinary offerings.
The hotel introduces the brand’s new Mindful Rooms and Floors concept, which includes 14 rooms designed for travelers seeking a personalized stay. These rooms feature natural textures, soft lighting, and wellness amenities, including yoga mats and recovery tools.
JW Marriott Reston Station is part of the larger Reston Station development, which includes office buildings, residential towers, and retail spaces. The development is centered around the Wiehle–Reston East Station on Metro’s Silver Line, offering easy access to the surrounding region.
The opening of this hotel marks a significant addition to the hospitality offerings in the Dulles Corridor, offering both leisure and business travelers a new accommodation option in Northern Virginia.
