New Sparkling Water Flavor 'Tastes Just Like' Beloved Childhood Cereal

30 June 20252 Mins Read

A brand new flavor of sparkling water is causing quite a stir online after an apparent collaboration between canned water company Liquid Death and Post Holdings’ Fruity Pebbles was spotted in stores this week.

Foodstagrammer Snackolator shared the news on Instagram over the weekend, revealing the “amazing” packaging for the new flavor dubbed “Cereal Criminal,” which is said to be headed to retailers wherever the brand is carried, but reactions to the nostalgic new flavor were wildly mixed, with one person bluntly replying, “Absolutely not,” and another excitedly commenting, “Don’t mind if I do!”

“This looks so good,” someone else gushed, while another of the influencer’s followers revealed they recently discovered the flavor at Target and could confirm it “tastes just like” the cereal. “…it blows my mind!” they added.

Many were equally unimpressed, though, with one commenter stating that “Cereal flavored sparkling water sounds…eh.”

“Who is this for?” another wondered.

“honestly their chocolate fudge one was delicious,” one last defender pointed out, suggesting others not be so quick to “write this off.”

“it gives soda float flavors,” they added.

“Missed opportunity,” someone else quipped. “They could have called it ‘Cereal killer’.”

Parade has reached out to a rep for Liquid Death for more information.
