Hilton has opened the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, a 188-room resort located in the Guanacaste region, marking an expansion of its luxury portfolio in Latin America.
Hilton has announced the opening of the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, a new resort situated in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. The property, which features 188 rooms, is located on the cliffs of Punta Cacique, offering views of the Pacific Ocean.
The resort features six dining options inspired by regional cuisine, a multi-level pool, and dedicated clubs for children and teenagers. Additionally, it houses a 17,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, as well as 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique is part of a larger development known as Punta Cacique, a luxury community managed by Hilton. Revolution owns the resort, Cacique Investors LLC, and Garnier & Garnier, with GFG Securities LLC having raised the necessary equity and debt financing for the project.
The development is positioned as a base for exploring Costa Rica’s natural and cultural offerings. The resort also features the Waldorf Astoria Residences Costa Rica, Punta Cacique, which includes a limited number of fully furnished four- and five-bedroom homes. These residences offer access to the resort’s amenities and are carefully designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
The opening of this resort is part of Hilton’s strategy to expand its luxury offerings globally, with a particular focus on the Latin American market. The company aims to cater to travelers seeking high-end accommodations that offer both comfort and access to local experiences.
