New Year’s Eve parties in Toronto that are not a typical club night

15 December 20254 Mins Read

The way you ring in your new year is important. There was a time when New Year’s Eve in Toronto meant committing to a club night, whether it suited you or not. But in a city like Toronto, the last night of the year doesn’t actually have to be in a nightclub at all!

Skip the traditional nightclub experience and check out these NYE parties happening across the city.

Why not say goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026 with a delicious four-course prix fixe dinner at The Drake?

Live music will set the tone before the countdown. Your reservation also includes complimentary access to the NYE house party. Eat, celebrate, dance and cheers to 2026. Expect three floors of DJs, dance floors, live performances, tarot readings, champagne, and bites.

Time: Party from 9 p.m. to late.
Where: The Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen St. W.
Cost: $60 for party, $129 for both dinner and party

The Distillery Winter Village is just a holiday hot spot; it’s the place to be to ring in the new year. Expect live performances through the evening, and once midnight hits, there’ll be fireworks above Trinity Street.

Step into 2026 in true elegance at Mister C. The luxurious destination inside The Bisha Hotel will unveil its LUXE — New Year’s Eve 2026.

Harbourfront Centre is putting on a free celebration along Toronto’s waterfront, and there will be way more than just fireworks.

Street Eats Market will be in attendance, bringing guests local bites from around the city and warm drinks to sip on while you walk around.

The beloved Harbourfront Express will also be there for anyone who wants to take a final train ride of the year.

The 10-minute fireworks show will begin at midnight on the dot, with synchronized music playing as the harbourfront lights up in gorgeous colours.

“Think silver shine, vintage film vibes, and a whole lot of sparkle,” shares organizers. “Grab a bite, a drink, strike a pose, hit the dance floor, and help us snap The Final Frame before 2026 rolls in. It’s the perfect mix of nostalgia, glam, and moments you’ll want to replay forever.”

Enjoy eats from over 15 restaurants, a welcome drink, and a live jazz band. Expect drink specials, DJs, a vintage photobooth by Four Poses and a decked-out dance floor. Dress in your best vintage-inspired outfit. Sparkles are encouraged.
