‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2 Episode Titles Revealed

13 May 20256 Mins Read

As fans continue to count down to the release of Nobody Wants This season 2 in October 2025, fans will be delighted to learn that filming for the series recently wrapped, and episode titles for the upcoming season have been revealed, giving us a hint of what’s to come in season 2.

It only took two weeks after the release of Nobody Wants This for Netflix to renew the series for a second season. We’ve been tracking the updates for the second season, which started filming on March 3rd, 2025, and wrapped on May 12th, 2025. Not to mention, some exciting new cast members will be seen in the new season, which we’ve revealed Netflix has eyed an October 23rd, 2025 release.

The series was created by Erin Foster, who is also a co-showrunner and executive producer on the series. She previously shared her excitement over the continuation of Nobody Wants This:

“Creating Nobody Wants This will forever be a career highlight for me. The incredible cast, crew, producers and executives all made this into the show it is today, and to experience viewers’ reactions to this series now that it’s out in the world has been more than anything I could have dreamed. I’m so lucky to be able to continue this story, and to do it alongside Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, who I’ve been such a fan of since Girls… Justice for healthy relationships being the most romantic!”

The co-showrunner and executive producer, Jenni Konner, shared their thoughts on getting to work with Foster:

“It’s a dream to be working on Nobody Wants This. Erin is the rare creator with a crystal clear voice and a genuinely collaborative spirit. I am a true fan of Erin’s show and also feel so lucky to be back in a room with two of my favorites, Bruce Kaplan and Sarah Heyward from Girls.”

Bruce Eric Kaplan also shared his excitement over being part of Nobody Wants This season 2:

“I am excited beyond belief to be a part of Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, created by the hilarious Erin Foster. It is such a unique and beautiful show and I am already having the best time working on it.”

Episode Titles for Nobody Wants This Season 3 Revealed

Unfortunately, we don’t have the exact order of the episode titles, so we’re going to list them alphabetically:

  • A Better Rabbi
  • Anything Can Happen
  • Dinner Party
  • Leave it at the Tree
  • The Taker
  • The Unethical Therapist
  • Valentine’s Day
  • When You Know, You Know

However, we can confirm that Dinner Party is the second season’s first episode, thanks to a behind-the-scenes video shared online by Kristen Bell.

From the episode titles above, we can speculate on what they mean for the second season’s story.

Warning: The following section contains spoilers. Proceed with caution!

A Better Rabbi could be one of two things: either at this point in the story, Noah has accepted the position of head rabbi, or a brand new rabbi has joined the temple if Noah has decided to prioritize his relationship with Joanne.

Anything Can Happen sounds like a pretty ambiguous title, but it suggests that this episode will likely center on Joanne and Noah as they break new ground in their relationship, especially if Noah puts her first over his faith.

Dinner Party is self-explanatory; we’ll likely see Joanne face the gauntlet once more as she attends a dinner party hosted by Noah’s mother, Bina, who already despises Joanne. Not to mention Rebecca, Noah’s ex, and Esther, Noah’s sister-in-law, also hate Joanne, so it could be a rough night ahead for her.

Leave it at the Tree suggests that this episode will focus on either Joanne or Noah’s moving on from something big in their lives.

The Taker could be several different things. The family could have a death, and “The Taker” could literally refer to an Undertaker, so the introduction of a quirky new character. Or it could be referring to someone acting incredibly selfishly.

The Unethical Therapist suggests we may see a brand new character introduced this season. Who and what the therapy is for remains unclear, but an “unethical therapist” doesn’t sound great for anyone involved!

Valentine’s Day is very self-explanatory. This is a super romantic-centric episode in which we’ll get to see Noah and Joanne experience their first Valentine’s Day together.

When You Know, You Know could be the series finale. A title like that suggests a proposal could be on the cards for someone, so perhaps Noah will pop the question to Joanne!?

We also have the complete list of which writers wrote which episodes:

  • Episode 1  Dinner Party – Erin Foster
  • Episode 2 – Lawrence Dai & Mahtub Zare Mochanloo
  • Episode 3 – Ryann Werner
  • Episode 4 – Sarah Heyward
  • Episode 5 – Lindsay Golder
  • Episode 6 – Sarah Heyward & Megan Mazer
  • Episode 7 – Bruce Eric Kaplan
  • Episode 8 – Bruce Eric Kaplan

Switched on fans reading this will have realized we’re two episodes short, as season one of Nobody Wants This had ten episodes. Episode titles are revealed in batches, so there may still be two more titles yet to be revealed. At the very least, we have confirmation that Nobody Wants This season 2 will have at least eight episodes.

We expect an official episode count confirmed soon.

Is there any word on Season 3?

At the time of writing, there has been no news regarding a third season of Nobody Wants This. However, if the series maintains its popularity from the first season, then we have no doubts about the rom-com being renewed for a third season.
