Nobu has debuted at two iconic resorts, Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, and Hotel Del Coronado. The introduction follows multi-year renovations at both properties.
The new Nobu Grand Wailea Maui occupies a 13,000 square foot space at the oceanfront resort. The restaurant, part of the hotel’s $350 million renovation, offers a selection of signature Japanese dishes with a South American twist and locally sourced offerings like line-caught fish with black bean sauce. The restaurant features expansive indoor-outdoor dining areas, a sushi bar, private dining rooms, and considerable al fresco seating.
In addition to introducing Nobu, the Grand Wailea resort also features unique dessert offerings such as Kona Coffee Tres Leches Cake and pavlova with O’ahu’s Laie Vanilla, served with blood orange sorbet. Rockwell Group designed the Nobu restaurant at Grand Wailea.
Meanwhile, Nobu Del Coronado offers an array of signature dishes by Chef Matsuhisa, along with locally inspired selections. The 3,700 square foot oceanfront restaurant features 156 seats, including 120 al fresco, and panoramic views of the Pacific. The restaurant also includes an eight-seat sushi bar and a 12-seat Pagoda Bar offering curated sake, Japanese whiskeys, and craft cocktails.
