The beloved Ladner Village Market is one of the largest of its kind in Western Canada, and its 29th season is set to kick off in just over a month. Situated 20 minutes away from Vancouver, the charming village market brings together a myriad of community vendors, artisans, and organizations to the heart of Ladner Village — their motto: “make it, bake it, grow it.”
Visitors can peruse farm-fresh produce and meats, artisanal treats, and an array of handcrafted products in a festive atmosphere. With 160 artisan vendors each day the market runs, you’ll never run out of new products to sample.
Attracting visitors from across the Lower Mainland, the market features daily live music and entertainment, including roaming artists.
“Our local merchants and restaurants will be open to greet you and welcome you into Ladner Village,” organizers add on the market’s website.
Considered one of Western Canada’s largest open-air markets, the event spans three blocks on 48th Avenue, from Delta Street to Elliott Street, on select Sundays from June to September, with the final market of 2025 scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025.
On Instagram, the market shares that the 2025 season will include a pilot expansion program, featuring a pop-up patio at the heart of the market, located at Britannia Brewing Co.
“Tucked between winding rivers and wide-open skies, this village is full of heart,” says the market organizers. “What makes Ladner so magical isn’t just its natural beauty—it’s the people.”
The first market of the season will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2025. So mark your calendars, and consider making the Ladner Village Market a Sunday tradition this season!
