Netmarble just followed up on The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’s blockbuster trailer at Summer Game Fest by showcasing even more of what we can expect from the anime spinoff game in a brand new trailer during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Not only that, but those eager to experience the next game in The Seven Deadly Sins series can pre-register and sign up for its closed beta right now.
A new trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin debuted during Gamescom ONL, which you can check out below if you weren’t watching live. The trailer provided us our best look yet at the upcoming game, showing off more of how fans of The Seven Deadly Sins manga, anime, and prior games in the series will be able to experience its open world.
The story follows Tristan, who explores The Seven Deadly Sins’ fictional world of Britannia unlike players ever have done before. Even though fans of the series will recognize Origin’s world and characters, the new game tells a brand new story rooted in a multiverse, providing an experience that will feel both familiar and brand new to The Seven Deadly Sins fans.
Characters such as Meliodas (whose Japanese actor’s narration we heard for the first time in the new trailer), Elizabeth, and Ban will return as you traverse Britannia, accruing a team of heroes in your quest to save the land they call home. While the threat remains the same regardless of how you choose to play, the open world, and your freedom to explore it, will allow you to shape your own The Seven Deadly Sins adventure.
