Overwatch season 3 skins, Mythics, and battle pass contents revealed

Overwatch season 3 starts on Tuesday with new Damage hero Shion and a new Hybrid map, Neon Junction, coming to Blizzard’s hero shooter. Season 3 will also feature a new battle pass, and new skins themed around the Tokyo-inspired map. Blizzard’s newest cosmetics include cat cafe-themed skins and Japanese “street rebel” looks, among others. There’s also a new collaboration with Japanese musical duo Yaosobi, which will give Kiriko, Genji, and Hanzo colorful new streetwear looks.

Here’s what else Overwatch fans can expect in terms of cosmetics for season 3, Into the Tiger’s Den.

Overwatch Season 3 Battle Pass skins

Season 3’s battle pass includes a mix of Japanese-inspired skins and Summer Games-appropriate fits. Check out Freja’s new Midsommar skin and the first Legendary for the imposing Shion. Confirmed to get Legendary and Epic skins in season 3 are Freja, Genji, Shion, Lúcio, Cassidy, Sombra, and Junkrat.

Tokyo Rebel Hanzo Weapon Mythic Skin

Hanzo gets the Mythic weapon skin in season 3, giving his bow a bright purple and blue glow, with spectacular dragon effects.

Illari Ascendant Phoenix Mythic Skin

Illari is this season’s recipient of a Mythic hero skin, which builds on her overall fiery theme.

Nyan Cafe Ultra Skins

Sierra, Ashe (and BOB), Orisa, Reaper, and Kiriko are working at the cat cafe in season 3, with maid-themed skins for most of the crew. Reaper gets a velvety kitty-themed suit, while BOB gets some big ol’ paws.

Street Rebels Skins

Mizuki, Mercy, Jetpack Cat, Wuyang, and Junker Queen are giving Tokyo delinquent youth vibes with a street rebels theme in season 3. Unfortunately, Street Rebel Junker Queen has already mugged me for however many Overwatch Coins she costs.

Spellcasters Skins
