Owen S. Henry Jr. Appointed Hotel Manager at Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios.

Owen S. Henry Jr. has been appointed Hotel Manager at Jamaica Inn, where he will oversee day-to-day operations and guest experience initiatives. He will report to the Managing Director and shareholder Kyle Mais.

Henry brings more than two decades of experience in Jamaica’s luxury and all-inclusive hospitality sector. He has held senior leadership positions at Grand Palladium Resorts, Bahia Luxury Resorts, Sandy Haven Resorts, Royalton Resorts, and Sandals Royal Caribbean. His expertise covers rooms division, food and beverage, guest services, quality assurance, human resources, training and development, and health and safety.

Henry has contributed to operational performance and guest satisfaction throughout his career. He helped elevate Grand Lido Negril from 69th to the number one ranked hotel in Negril on TripAdvisor, led Hideaway at Royalton Negril to a top-five ranking in the Caribbean, and contributed to a 35 percent improvement in profit and loss performance at Sandy Haven Resorts.

His background includes executive operational oversight, budgeting and forecasting, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional team leadership, and support for resort openings and repositionings. Henry holds a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Management from the College of Agriculture, Science and Education, with studies in Human Resource Management and Business Process and Economics, as well as an Associate of Science in Agricultural Science. He also holds several professional certifications in hospitality and operational management.
