In Brief: Flight searches for Paris during Celine Dion’s scheduled residency dates rose 11% year over year, while bookings increased 5%, according to Amadeus Travel Intelligence data. The data shows demand from the United States, Brazil, Canada and several Asia-Pacific markets, alongside longer hotel stays in Paris.

Flight demand during residency dates

International flight searches to Paris for September 11 through October 17 increased 11% compared with the same period in 2025, according to Amadeus Travel Intelligence data collected on August 12. Flight bookings for the period increased 5% year over year.

The dates cover Celine Dion’s planned 16-concert Paris residency, scheduled from September 12 through October 17. The data compares global air arrivals and booking activity during the residency period with the corresponding dates in the previous year.

The United States accounted for the largest share of international search traffic, at 26.5%. Brazil represented 11% of searches, and Canada represented 7.4%. Together, the three countries accounted for nearly 45% of the growth in global search traffic to Paris during the period.

The Americas also represented nearly 40% of flight bookings. The United States accounted for 26.85% of bookings, followed by Brazil at 5.5%, Canada at 4.4%, and Mexico at 2.4%.

Growth in bookings from selected markets

Mexico and Brazil were among the fastest-growing international booking markets for Paris during the residency dates. Bookings from Mexico increased 38% from the previous year, while bookings from Brazil increased 30%.

Asia-Pacific markets also accounted for a significant portion of bookings. Japan represented 6.6% of flight bookings to Paris during the period, followed by Australia at 5.1%, South Korea at 4.5%, and India at 2.19%.

Combined, these four Asia-Pacific markets represented 18.4% of travelers booked to travel to Paris during the concert dates. Japan accounted for 2.4% of international search demand and was the only Asia-Pacific country included among the 10 largest search-origin markets.

Thailand recorded the largest year-over-year increase in bookings among the markets cited in the data, with bookings rising 200%. Bookings from Japan increased 40%, while bookings from India rose 13%.

European search activity and booking patterns

Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Poland together accounted for 26.5% of international flight searches to Paris during the residency period.

Several European countries recorded increased search traffic compared with the same period in 2025. Searches from Greece increased 116%, followed by Romania at 69%, Spain at 66%, Poland at 59%, Portugal at 53%, and Italy at 19%.

Booking data showed a different distribution. European travelers accounted for slightly more than 5% of bookings among the top 10 international origin countries. Spain accounted for 2.8% of bookings, and Italy for 2.4%.

Among European countries with the largest booking growth, Norway recorded a 40% increase, Poland rose 22%, the United Kingdom increased 14%, and Denmark increased 12%.

Domestic air bookings within France

Amadeus data showed that eight of the 10 largest domestic booking-origin cities were in southern France. These cities accounted for nearly 79% of domestic air bookings to Paris during the residency period.

Toulouse represented 30.3% of domestic air bookings, followed by Nice at 14% and Ajaccio at 7.4%.

Some smaller French origin markets recorded higher year-over-year booking growth. Bookings from Bastia increased 55%, while Ajaccio increased 35%. Biarritz recorded a 26% increase, Montpellier rose 16%, and Pau increased 10%.

The figures cover air travel only and do not include rail or car journeys. Travelers from other French regions may use non-air transport to reach Paris, meaning domestic interest cannot be measured solely through flight data.

Hotel stays and Paris room revenue

Hotel data from Amadeus Demand360, collected on August 3, covered stays in Paris from September 6 through October 17. Short stays of one to five nights accounted for 47.45% of hotel bookings during the period.

Bookings for stays of six to 13 nights represented 41.42% of hotel bookings. This category was 6% higher than during the comparable period in 2025.

Paris hotel revenue per available room reached $211 during the residency period, a 13% increase from the previous year. The hotel data indicates that some visitors booked stays longer than a typical short visit during the concert dates.
