- New Year’s festivities and a series of major events in Paris have led to all-time high hotel revenue and average daily rates for January.
- The second night of Menswear Paris Fashion Week and the first night of Pharmapack resulted in an occupancy high of 84.7% and rates above EUR400 for three consecutive nights.
Paris hotel room rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR) soared to record levels in January 2025, according to data from commercial real estate analytics firm CoStar. The spike was driven by New Year’s celebrations and a series of events hosted in the city.
The occupancy rate rose by 6.5% year-over-year to 66.6%, while the average daily rate (ADR) was up by 6.3% to EUR355.96. The RevPAR increased by 13.3% to EUR237.03.
Toward the end of the month, several high-profile events took place in Paris, including Pharmapack, IMCAS World Congress, and two Fashion Weeks. Notably, the overlap of the Menswear Paris Fashion Week with Pharmapack led to a significant increase in the hotel occupancy rate, reaching a high of 84.7% on 22nd January.
During this period, the ADR exceeded EUR400 for three straight nights from 24-26 January. The ADR and RevPAR peaked on New Year’s Day at EUR469.47 and EUR373.37, respectively. The data indicates the strong performance and growth in the Paris hotel industry.
