Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the expansion of its Park Hyatt brand with recent and upcoming openings in several global locations, including Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Los Cabos, and Tokyo.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has outlined its expansion plans for the Park Hyatt brand, marking significant growth with the addition of new properties in various regions. The expansion includes recent openings and future projects in key cities across Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.

In the Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) region, Park Hyatt Marrakech opened on July 1, 2024, featuring 130 guestrooms and suites. The Park Hyatt London, situated on the River Thames, opened on October 8, 2024, introducing the brand to the United Kingdom with 203 guestrooms. Park Hyatt Johannesburg followed, opening on July 1, 2025, with 31 guestrooms and suites. Additionally, Park Hyatt Taormina is expected to open in 2027, offering views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.

In the Asia Pacific region, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur commenced operations on August 7, 2025, with 252 guestrooms and suites situated within the Merdeka 118 skyscraper. Park Hyatt Tokyo is set to resume operations in December 2025 following a comprehensive refurbishment. The Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is anticipated to open in the second quarter of 2026.

In the Americas, Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol is expected to open in late 2025, featuring 163 guestrooms and a wellness complex. Park Hyatt Cancun and Park Hyatt Mexico City are both scheduled to open in 2026, with the latter offering 155 guestrooms and 23 residences. Park Hyatt Vancouver is also expected to open in 2026, following a redesign of the current Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni.

These developments are part of Hyatt’s broader strategy to expand the Park Hyatt brand in desirable locations worldwide.
